

AffiliatesThe Aotearoa Maori Providers of Training, Education & Employment (AMPTEE)AMPTEE was established as an incorporated society on 25 March 1994, with the following principal objectives, among others:
AMPTEE is a membership based organisation established to provide a national voice for affiliated Maori providers in the education sector. AMPTEE is governed by a National Executive (“Executive”) of 18 members comprising representatives from thirteen regions, in addition to the Chair and Secretary/Treasurer. The Executive meets quarterly to discuss issues affecting affiliated Maori providers as well as provide advice to Government agencies on policies in the education, employment and training sectors. AMPTEE is administered by the Secretary based in Wellington. Funding for this is derived from contracts with various agencies for the provision of strategic advice. Founder: Tina Olsen-Ratana
